Weapon Choice and Playstyle2010-03-30 00:00:00If you are trying to save time by conserving mana, then it isn't going to work. The mana or time you save will be spent bandaging or healing yourself from the mob hitting you while you beat it to death (which will be slow - your melee damage is tiny compared to your spell damage.
Far better to root them in place and nuke them with spells. When the root breaks, then re-root them or use Natures Grasp to root them, move out of melee range and continue to nuke them. I'm not sure at your level, but at later levels, starfire is more efficient but wrath does more DPS.
-RareBeast: What are you trying to tell me? That I can out-tank & out-DPS them all?
Druid Trainer: No RareBeast. I'm trying to tell you that when you have...
Thinking of respecing since 2.02010-03-23 00:00:00Ok I am thinking of respecing.
I do a lot BG's and PvPing lately.
I have a few ideas on how I may go, but can't find enough info on some talent abilities.
Some sounded nice until you start looking closely...
Animal Handler.
Increase speed while mounted by 8 + pet's chance to hit by 4. The mounted movement speed increase does not stack with other effects.
This kind of sucks IMHO. I have enchant on gloves and the carrot on a stick. So why would anyone want this? True you pet gets a bump on hit chance but is it worth it.
Pathfinding.
When mounted my pet keeps up with me. When I am on foot my pet is close by unless it's in combat. Yes, I can out run him with AotC, but who wants to risk getting stunned?
If he needs speed to attack or chase that's what dash is for. So more points saved.
Focused Fire.
Supposedly, all dam caused by you is increased by 1 while pet is active and the crit chance of Kill Command ability is increased by 10.
Is this Kill Command a pasive ability or triggered?
Do I need a button on the hotbar?
Who's crit chance goes up? Pet or m...
Hunter addon2010-03-15 00:00:00No addons here but I use only the 2 right-hand action bars and the bottom action bar, I don't have every ability up, just the ones I use often. I also keep one bag with stuff I use in battle, I keep it open and right click stuff as needed. So in essence, Abilities= Action Bars, Items= Bag. Oh, and I don't use my mouse other than my Bag items, Ill try to include a screenshot, Ill have to load one up on here to link to (pain in the ass when you have 2 monitors XD)-Wheels

Huntard Races2010-03-03 00:00:00From the sticky:
What's the best race?
Quote:
No race is the single best. They all have advantages. First, let it be said that STARTING STATS DO NOT MATTER. Don't pick a Night Elf over a Dwarf because of the difference in starting agility. A Night Elf with 650 agility would have around 643 as a Dwarf. Big deal.
As far as racial attributes go...
Night Elves can go unseen with Shadowmeld, which is useful to hide from an enemy.
Dwarves can cleanse poisons using Stone Form,...
